How much do you love tennis? Do you play once a week, every day, or more often? If your answer is yes, then you definitely need a home with a tennis court right in your backyard.
“Having your own tennis court is very intimate and social,” he said. “It’s great to be able to have your friends over for a private match whenever you want.”
Drew said there are a few important things to consider when putting in your own tennis court, the first being to make sure you have enough space.
“It’s one thing to have the space for a tennis court, but you want to make sure you have enough space surrounding the court so that you can really move around and also play doubles without having to worry about running into a fence,” he said.
Another very important piece of information Drew shared is to make sure your court faces north and south. “If your court faces east and west, the sun is going to be shining directly into one player’s face at any given time of the day and you won’t be able to see the ball at all.”
Depending on how much you use your court, you will have to resurface it to maintain the integrity of the court and the game.
