Meredith Baxter, best known for her role as Elyse Keaton on the television series “Family Ties,” recently sold her five-bedroom, four-bathroom, 4,500-square-foot home in Santa Monica for $4.589 million.
The rustic contemporary-inspired home Baxter lived in for many years is set among trees on about a third of an acre, which also holds a guesthouse, pool, sitting areas, lawns, and mature landscaping.
Inside the main house, a wood-paneled exterior and interior features vaulted ceilings, plus walls of irregular windows and brick fireplaces in the living room, eat-in kitchen, and master bedroom.
Upstairs, an art studio opens to a tree-topped deck and patio space.
Born in South Pasadena, Baxter, now 69, is also known for her role in “All the President’s Men” and “Family.” She has recently appeared on the series “Finding Carter,” “The Young and the Restless,” and “Code Black.”
