Head to Old Town San Diego for your Cinco de Mayo celebration. It’s the largest fiesta of its kind in Southern California. This annual event features three days of music, food, and fun. See a low-rider car show, equestrian performances, historical demonstrations, enjoy live music, and much more. If the weather gets too hot, head over to the Cantina Garden to enjoy a nice cold beer. If there’s a tequila connoisseur in you, don’t miss the high-end tequila-sampling area. Take a ride in a stagecoach and explore the variety of sights and sounds found in Old Town.

Help make Orange County a better place while having fun with the whole family! You’re invited to Ripple Kids in Action on April 26, 2015 from 12 -3 p.m. at SOCO Collection in Costa Mesa. This free event will offer kids an assortment of fun, hands-on service projects like planting milkweed, making toys for shelter animals, and packing birthday party kits for children in need. Surfas Culinary District will host a Fierce Food Cooking Demonstration where real-life Ripple Kids will partner with professional chefs to share their favorite easy, healthy recipes. Guests will also enjoy live music from OC’s School of Rock youth music academy, delicious food, and pet-adoption opportunities through Barks of Love Animal Rescue. Ripple Kids seeks to inspire and empower kids to take action in their communities, and this is the perfect opportunity for kids to get inspired to give back.

Santa Barbara was founded in 1782 at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park. Commemorate this historic occasion during a two-day celebration that includes a candlelight dinner, festival, and roundup. The dinner takes place Friday evening and is followed by the Founding Day Festival on Saturday. The festival celebrates all things Santa Barbara and features local entertainment in the heart of downtown. The celebration culminates Saturday evening with the Rancho Roundup. Attendees can enjoy live music from Double Wide Kings, Gene Evaro Jr. & The Family, Young Million, The Caverns, and more.

The Annual Chili Cook-Off and Classic Car Show makes its way back to Thousand Oaks for the 39th year. Head to Conejo Creek Park to see cars from around the world brought together by local area car club members. Sample chili while you enjoy lie entertainment by DSB An American Journey and Cover 2 Cover Band. Event staff asks that attendees refrain from bringing pets and outside food or beverages.
