TV and film director Rich Moore has purchased a home in the historic Whitley Heights area of Hollywood Hills West for $2.11 million. Tim Swan of our Brentwood office was listing agent for the Mediterranean-style house built in 1998.
Located in a small, gated enclave, amenities include a Moroccan-tiled swimming pool and spa, lawns, and an attached two-car garage.
The 3,500 square feet of living space features a living room with a fireplace, formal dining room, country-style kitchen, four bedrooms, and four bathrooms. Arched doorways, coved and beamed ceilings, and hand-painted tiles are among the interior details. Balconies off several of the bedrooms take in views of the Hollywood Sign and downtown L.A.
Moore’s directing credits include “Wreck-It Ralph” and “Zootopia.” He won Emmy awards for his work on the animated series “The Simpsons” and “Futurama,” and is co-directing the sequel to “Wreck-It Ralph.”
