Historic home for sale

A lost treasure has been found in Los Angeles. The Fleet House, acknowledged by the Los Angeles Conservancy as being a major part of one of the most “unusual and pedigreed chapters in the history of manufactured homes,” could be yours for $948,000.

The Fleet House was first occupied by Reginald Fleet, president of Southern California Homes, and his family in the late 1940s. It was a creative solution to the challenge of providing affordable single-family housing in a postwar economy. The chipped-glass fireplace, placed at almost eye-level in the family/media room, further adds to the sleek and contemporary feel.

The 55-year-old composer, music director and producer is also known for his work on “American Idol,” “America’s Got Talent” and “Don’t Forget the Lyrics.”Beyonce, Whitney Houston and Christina Aguilera are just a few of the stars that Minor has toured with.
