Summer Dream Home Contest

It’s no secret that some of the most beautiful homes are in Southern California, and our agents know it better than anyone else. We want to find the best listed home in Southern California, so we turned to our agents and asked them to send us the best of their current listings. Once we had our submissions, we put them to a vote and chose, from each county, one listing that we thought best represented the California lifestyle. Now that we have representatives from Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties, we need you to choose which one is your ideal Summer Dream Home.

Voting is easy, and once you vote you’ll be entered in a random drawing to win a $25 card. All you have to do is:

  • Look at our five contestant photos on our Instagram account
  • Like your favorite one
  • Tag a friend in the comments

Easy, right? You might not think so once you see how beautiful these California Summer Dream Homes are. So, before you vote, here’s a little more information about our five finalists:

2015 Housing

If you’re planning to buy or sell a home in Southern California soon, this might be a good time to start working with one of our agents.

Our state’s residential real estate activity leads the nation, capturing half of the 20 spots in the “hottest” markets list compiled by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and published on

In Southern California, the San Diego-Carlsbad market ranked No.11, and Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim was No. 15.

Chief Economist Jonathan Smoke’s team ranked the 20 hottest U.S. real estate markets for buyers and sellers in May. Looking at the 300 largest markets, they used the number of views per listing on to gauge demand, and the median age of inventory to assess supply.

The team’s findings, released at the start of June, show that California markets rank so highly because of tight supply and economic-powered growth in demand.
