Drive, walk, or take the San Diego Trolley’s Green Line to Santee Trolley Square, enter a raffle, and you might drive home in the cool 1971 Camaro that will be given away at the Santee Street Fair and Craft Beer Festival. The city’s Chamber of Commerce sponsors this annual event, which is expected to draw 30,000 visitors to enjoy 300 food and vendor booths, Crafter Row and Artist Alley, carnival rides, and two entertainment stages. Ages 21 and up can get a free cheeseburger or bacon-wrapped hot dog by pre-registering for a craft-beer garden wristband. Free lunch? Maybe a free car? What’s not to like?
