If you’ve been on social media the last few weeks you’ve probably seen the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, but did you know our President & CEO David Cabot, Orange County managers and The Charitable Foundation board members accepted the challenge?
That’s right, head to our YouTube Channel see some of our team get completely drenched!
A special thank you goes out to Burnz Eye View for donating their time and resources to shoot the video for us.
What is ALS?
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehig’s Disease,” is a progressive neurodegenerative disease. It affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS can also affect motor neurons that reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. ALS is a devastating disease that results in loss of control and movement throughout the body.
How can you help?
Raise awareness and join our staff by taking the challenge today! If you’d rather not dump ice water over your head you can donate online or participate on November 8th in the 3rd Annual Walk to Defeat ALS.
