Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties announced today that Kanyen “Connie” Tye has joined the Irvine office. “Connie is poised for a very bright future in real estate,” says James Cameron, manager. “Her understanding of the art of property management and excellent problem solving skills make her a trusted advisor to every client she assists.”
Formerly an adjunct professor of Mathematics at Miramar College, Tye explains that she chose to move into residential sales to combine her love for helping others achieve their goals with her passion for real estate. Raised in a family with a real estate background in Taiwan, she developed a talent for negotiating from her numerous experiences conducting personal transactions and managing rental properties.
“Real estate was a natural progression for me, because I consider it a privilege and an honor to have a chance to help my friends and relatives find good properties for their families,” says Tye, who is fluent in Taiwanese and the Mandarin dialect of Chinese.
Tye believes that her mathematics background and long-term involvement in real estate will allow her to develop highly accurate, detailed evaluations of specific properties. “Being able to gauge the true market value of a property is a benefit to buyers and sellers alike,” notes Tye, “since it gives me the necessary information to negotiate the best possible price.”
