Less than a year after buying a home in the Hope Ranch area of Santa Barbara, ESPN’s NBA and college basketball analyst Brad Daugherty has listed it with Team Scarborough of our Montecito office for $2.795 million.
The ranch-style house on more than two acres at the end of a winding drive has a swimming pool with a spa, and a three-stall barn. Built in 1953, the remodeled single-story residence features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a powder room, updated kitchen in an open floor plan over 2,136 square feet of living space. Finishing touches include inlaid wood floors and crown molding.
A cabana with outdoor shower is next to the pool. A stone patio with a fire pit and a built-in barbecue are bordered with mature oaks and palms.
Daugherty is a former No. 1 overall draft pick who played on five NBA All-Star teams in eight seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Retired after a back injury, he also is a racing team owner.
