Former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson has made a $300,000 profit on a 12-acre residential parcel he bought just a year ago for $900,000. With an assist from listing agents Marc Shevin and Rory Shevin of our Calabasas office, Johnson recently sold the residential lot between Calabasas and Monte Nido in gated Abercrombie Ranch Estates for $1.2 million.
The narrow property at the end of a cul-de-sac offers views of the surrounding mountains, treetops, and canyon.
Johnson, 43, was a standout at USC and Los Angeles’ Susan Miller Dorsey High. First drafted 1996, he played 11 seasons for the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, and Carolina Panthers, and played on three Pro Bowl teams. Most recently, he has been a studio analyst for ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown.”
Johnson was in the news two years ago when he sold his Calabasas home to reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian for $7.45 million. More than a decade earlier, he sold another Calabasas property to former NBA player Mitch Richmond.
