To show appreciation for their contributions to the L.A. Chapter, The Charitable Foundation is partnering with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties and Pickford Escrow to host a fun-filled day at the Los Angeles Zoo for agents, employees and donors. The event takes place on November 15 from 10 a.m. until closing and will include free goodie bags for the children, breakfast and an opportunity to visit the Zoo’s newest exhibit, “Rainforest of the Americas.”
The event is being made possible in part due to the L.A. Chapter’s business level sponsorship of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association. “We are proud that we have been able to contribute resources to the zoo and their programs for over 10 years,” said Natalie Hill, foundation manager. “I would like to thank everyone at the zoo for making this happen, especially Jan Frazier, director of corporate and foundation relations.”
All of the agents and employees in the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties network will be invited to participate in the event, which will begin at the Zoo’s Eucalyptus Grove. “It’s wonderful to have the chance to give back to our agents, employees and donors for their efforts to support the foundation. They have made a tremendously positive impact on the community,” added Hill.
The Charitable Foundation supports local organizations that promote health, education, community, and the environment. Since its inception the charity has provided over 1000 grants, in excess of $4.3 million, to make a beneficial and constructive impact on the community.
