Built in 1940, this Coldwater Canyon estate has a notable celebrity past, purchased in the 1950s by Hollywood veteran Jack Palance, who won the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for “City Slickers” (1991). Palance later sold it to highly regarded film and TV director Stuart Rosenberg (“Cool Hand Luke,” “The Defenders,” “The Untouchables,” “Naked City,” “The Twilight Zone.”)
