The Santa Barbara Zoo invites you to its first-ever Employee Art Show. The exhibit houses 27 original works for sale, with half the proceeds to be donated to the zoo. All works in the gallery are by Zoo employees who have found inspiration in nature and the animals they care for. Who knows, after you check out the paintings, mosaics and more, you may find your own inspiration.

Coming to Earl Warren Showgrounds in March is the 2015 Santa Barbara International Orchid Show. This year marks its 70th anniversary and the theme is “Celebrate with Orchids.” This is one of the longest-running and largest annual orchid shows in the United States. Highlights of the three-day show include displays of exotic orchid species, thousands of blooming plants for sale, exhibitions of orchid-themed fine art and photography, free workshops, and a unique flower-arrangement and corsage exhibition.

Bike your way into the heart of Santa Barbara’s wine country. Your group is picked up from your prearranged meeting location and shuttled to the Santa Ynez Valley. From there, the ride departs and heads toward the Foxen Canyon Trail or Santa Rita Hills. You’ll see sweeping views of stunning vineyards and ranch lands. A typical ride includes two stops at local wineries.
