While there are plenty of perks that come with life in beautiful Southern California, a major benefit is all of the homes made for outdoor entertaining. Our temperate weather can be enjoyed all year long, so homeowners tend to put a lot of focus on their outdoor spaces.
If you want to get outside in Southern California, there are no shortage of options, from the beach to parks to outdoor dining. However, we think having a home that allows for outdoor entertaining is one of the most ideal ways to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.

Internationally renowned artist Irina Alimanestianu built this three-story Venice abode at 224 3rd Avenue in 1991, where a small garage once stood at the top peak of the property.
Irina made extensive renovations to the home throughout the years, and most recently renovated the original front cottage in 2014 to create a one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage that had previously served as her art studio for 22 years. Famed landscape designer Jay Griffith and respected architect Alex Istanbullu were involved in the residence’s renovations.

Here in Southern California, ocean views are plentiful. From the South Bay, to Orange County and through Santa Barbara, there is truly nothing like living the west coast lifestyle, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. As often as you may come across an ocean view, though, it is a bit more rare to have a home that enjoys a view of the Pacific.
