Thousand Oaks Golf Tournament

What:
What better way could there be to spend St. Patrick’s Day than on the green in support of education? Players of all skill levels are welcome to compete and raise money at this year’s Going for the Green Golf Tournament. All proceeds benefit the STAR Education scholarship programs, and the STAR Eco Station environmental education and wildlife rescue efforts. In addition to supporting a great cause, golfers have the chance to win a car and participate in a silent auction. Even if you don’t golf, come out to support the athletes and enjoy the California sunshine.

Thousands of websites have been created to dispense advice for novice and would-be clippers. But all share some common tips. Here are a few:

  • Know where coupons are available: Print or electronic, there’s no end. Sunday newspaper inserts, direct mail from vendors, magazines, in-store dispensers, your email inbox, and online printable-coupon sites are great places to start. Some coupons can now be scanned at the register directly from your smartphone or tablet.
  • Look for sales: Save even more with coupons when items are on sale. Try not to waste them on full-price items.
