This gorgeous San Diego home, located in Rancho Santa Fe, is the winner of our Summer Dream Home Contest! The competition took place from July 20 to July 24 on our Instagram page.
We asked our agents to send us their dreamiest listings then asked you to vote on one of the five contestant photos that you thought was the best listed in Southern California. By Friday at 4:30 p.m. the San Diego listing had 52 likes, beating its competition by over 20 likes.
Once you see the large, luxurious pool in the backyard, which overlooks an outstanding golf course and has a peek of the ocean in the distance, you’ll understand why this property is the perfect Summer Dream Home. This classic yet simple California home features a barrel-vaulted ceiling and large windows that let natural light in to provide a stunning visual experience. The backyard has a resort-like feel that guests can enjoy from the separate guest house that has a full bedroom and bath. More photos and information were posted on our Summer Dream Home Pinterest board and in a previous blog post.
Every person that voted on a listing by liking and tagging a friend was entered into a random drawing to win a $25 Amazon card. The winner was selected on Friday, July 24 and announced on Instagram.

We are proud to announce that a number of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties agents and teams have made the 10th annual The Thousand list of America’s top 1,000 real estate sales professionals and teams. REAL Trends, in conjunction with The Wall Street Journal, recognized agents nationwide who ranked in the top one-half of 1 percent of more than 1,100,000 REALTORS® nationwide.
“Being ranked in the REAL Trends The Thousand is an incredible accomplishment.”
The Thousand is divided into four categories, each listing the top 250 designees: Individual Agent-Sales Volume; Individual Agent-Transaction Sides; Agent Team-Sales Volume; and Agent Team-Transaction Sides. This year, REAL Trends added two new categories: Individual Agent-Average Sales Price; Agent Team-Average Sales Price. These new categories offer an additional way to look at some of the top real estate professionals across the United States.

As a breast cancer survivor, Terri Repetto knows what it’s like to look–and feel–gray.
“When I was going through chemotherapy and radiation, I was gray, and I saw that other patients in the cancer unit looked the same way. You could see it in their eyes, and their skin,” said Terri, a REALTOR®-Sales Associate in our La Jolla office.
So to help cheer the lives of those undergoing similar treatments, she has begun a drive to help them look and feel their best. She is collecting hats, scarves, necklaces, new earrings, and other accessories to distribute to patients at the David and Donna Long Center for Cancer Treatment at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa. The only thing she wants in return is a smile.
