Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is pleased to recognize Dave Buckley with the Agent of the Month award for the brokerage’s Escondido office. The award was presented to Buckley for ranking No. 1 in his office’s sales for August 2014.
As a Certified Relocation Specialist, Buckley has ranked in the top 100 for his sales performance out of more than 3,000 agents for the brokerage in San Diego. Summer has flown by right before our eyes, but Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is ready for the fall season. As September came to a close, four new agents joined the team. Please welcome Ryan Judson, Sarah Jane Tandy, Dawne Loveday and Sarah Anders.
Ryan Judson – With a top-producing real estate professional for a father, Judson witnessed firsthand what it takes to thrive in a competitive market. He credits his success to his ability to leverage the lessons learned from his father’s challenges and achievements, combined with his inherent knowledge of marketing, negotiating and property valuation.
Sarah Jane Tandy – When approaching sellers and buyers alike, Tandy understands the importance of being present for her clients and being a good listener. “I believe you have to be open-minded and patient to truly support your clients. I want to treat everyone like I would want to be treated,” Tandy says.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is pleased to announce that Victoria Boynton, Associate General Counsel, has been selected through peer nominating as one of San Diego’s leading in-house corporate counsels in The Daily Transcript’s annual “Power of Attorneys” program.
Boynton was selected by an independent judging panel, finalists exemplify leadership, dedication and achievement, community involvement and commitment to diversity in the profession, according to The Daily Transcript/San Diego Source, a business newspaper and website. Finalists will be highlighted with biographies on Oct. 2 in a “Power of Attorneys” special publication of The Daily Transcript and online at www.sddt.com.

One of San Diego’s most highly anticipated fundraisers, this year’s Taste at the Cove featured Carlos Gutierrez of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties reprising his role as Monty Montezuma. Gutierrez also acted as emcee for the event, which was held at La Jolla Cove in September to benefit the San Diego Sports Medicine Foundation (SDSMF).
With quality fare from San Diego’s most acclaimed restaurants and a New York-style fashion show, as well as silent and live auctions, the Taste at the Cove has been a standing room only event for 13 years running. “We were pleased to have Carlos on hand to support our Aztec-themed fundraiser, and I’m proud to report that we raised over $100,000 in funds,” said David Chao, founder and president of SDSMF.
