What:
Fun takes flight as the Redondo Beach Kite Festival 2015 fills skies at Redondo Beach Pier. Join the competition and see if your rig can take top prize at one of Southern California’s longest-running kite festivals. The only rules for entering your kite are that it can be made of any material, and can be any size, but it must be able to fly on the wind. And to have fun, of course.

Everyone from professionals to kids to the kid in all of us is invited to attend and compete. There’ll also be a yo-yo performance and competition, and a hot-dog-on-a-stick eating contest.

With such attention to detail, it’s no wonder the twin sisters were the 2014 recipients of the esteemed Accessories Designer of the Year award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
