With a goal of donating 777 pounds of food to the San Diego Food Bank, Candi DeMoura is hoping to bring luck and good cheer into the lives of some deserving San Diego families. DeMoura is currently accepting donations at her weekly open houses for the food drive which runs until December 22. Information about drop-off locations can be found on her website.

“I would like to thank everyone that donated last year! The 390 pounds of food we raised allowed for 325 meals to be provided for people in need,” said DeMoura.

Recent data from the Greater San Diego Association of REALTORS® indicate that home sales continued to increase in September. Throughout the month, sold listings varied by about 2 percent. Sales of single-family resale homes decreased by 2 percent in September compared to August, but sales of condo/townhouses increased by 2 percent.

The inventory in the market continued to steady with about three months’ worth of active listings; six months is considered a healthy-market inventory level. Overall, San Diego continues to be one of the best performing markets with homes spending an average of 40 days on the market. Real estate continues to move quickly when priced fairly.
