Summer has flown by right before our eyes, but Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is ready for the fall season. As September came to a close, four new agents joined the team. Please welcome Ryan Judson, Sarah Jane Tandy, Dawne Loveday and Sarah Anders.
Ryan Judson – With a top-producing real estate professional for a father, Judson witnessed firsthand what it takes to thrive in a competitive market. He credits his success to his ability to leverage the lessons learned from his father’s challenges and achievements, combined with his inherent knowledge of marketing, negotiating and property valuation.
Sarah Jane Tandy – When approaching sellers and buyers alike, Tandy understands the importance of being present for her clients and being a good listener. “I believe you have to be open-minded and patient to truly support your clients. I want to treat everyone like I would want to be treated,” Tandy says.

One of San Diego’s most highly anticipated fundraisers, this year’s Taste at the Cove featured Carlos Gutierrez of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties reprising his role as Monty Montezuma. Gutierrez also acted as emcee for the event, which was held at La Jolla Cove in September to benefit the San Diego Sports Medicine Foundation (SDSMF).
With quality fare from San Diego’s most acclaimed restaurants and a New York-style fashion show, as well as silent and live auctions, the Taste at the Cove has been a standing room only event for 13 years running. “We were pleased to have Carlos on hand to support our Aztec-themed fundraiser, and I’m proud to report that we raised over $100,000 in funds,” said David Chao, founder and president of SDSMF. The Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand recently celebrated a milestone anniversary. It’s now been one year since the inaugural brand transition, which took place in Southern California. On Sept. 23, 2013, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties transitioned 63 offices and more than 2,500 agents. It’s been an amazing year! In fact, since then Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has grown to include more than 1,000 offices nationwide. The map above shows offices throughout the United States.
