San Diego Wine Tasting

When you think wine in San Diego, you may be tempted to think of our neighbor to the north, Temecula. However, Temecula isn’t the only breeding ground for wine in the area. San Diego’s mild, Mediterranean-like climate makes it the perfect host for grapes. Several wineries right here are worth a visit.

Bernardo Winery
Bernardo Winery is the oldest continuously operating winery in Southern California. It’s in Rancho Bernardo and has been family-owned for three generations. After your tasting, be sure to look around the grounds. You’ll find old winemaking equipment, beautiful galleries and shopping.

Beach House Winery
Beach House Winery is an award-winning vineyard in Oceanside. Enjoy panoramic ocean views from this beautiful seaside location. The name of the business is derived from where the owners started their business, right in their beach house.
