There are few occasions that call out for good beer and good food like the Super Bowl. This contest of gladiators of the gridiron brings out a hunger and thirst like no other, and if you are hosting a party or get-together of any sort you better bring your “A” game for the biggest game of the year. Depending on what you’re serving, you should probably stock up on a wide variety to beers and snacks for your Super Bowl party:
- Wings: Wings are a foundation of just about any get-together involving football, and nowhere are they more important than at the big game party. However, to get the most out of them and maximize their spicy, smoky, and savory flavors, it’s best to pair wings with a beer such as an American-style India Pale Ale (IPA).

Though every culture has some form of sausage, why not go right to the source and pick a German beer for your party? Try a beer that won’t overwhelm the flavor, such as a Marzen or even an Austrian Bohemian-style lager, to make your dogs really bark.
